A Hike Between April Showers

I took the kids to Dungeness County Park to go for a short hike.  The sun was still shining when we arrived but half way through our hike it started to rain.  The kids wanted to head back for the car.  I convinced them that if we followed a trial toward the blue sky it would stop raining. I pretty sure they didn't believe me. Guess what? It stopped raining and the sun came out.
As you can tell these two are NOT serious kids. Goofy is more like it.
Right after I took these pictures above it started to rain and not lightly.
I stop to take a picture and they went up the trail.  When I caught up to them, this is what I found.
Also notice in these pictures the sun did indeed shine again.
Sequim Dungeness County Park if you are ever in the area check it out.

  1. Looks like a great park to run of a bit of energy. I love the tall grass, that looks so much fun and your kids look so happy and carefree, lovely to see. Thank you for sharing on Country Kids.

  2. sorry it rained, but looks like you all made hay while the sun shined...
